We just got back into our motel room from the Madison protests. Feet are sore (7 hours of use), voices are hoarse (6 hours of chanting), spirits are soaring (7 hours of uplifting), hope is replenished (7 hours of being surrounded by people revelling in the power of democracy). We have a half an hour before we head to the next rally at the Barrymore Theater (2 hours of listening chanting, and sitting). But first a beer. More later.
